The consumer's safety is always a commitment for Baladinos, that keeps on offering top quality dairy products.Adherence to traditional cheese production methods combined with a highly qualified workforce of the company guarantee the excellent quality. In September 2014, a relocation of all production activities of the enterprise in new modern, privately-owned facilities in Varipetro Chania. Responding to the increasing quality of the global market we have created the facilities based on international quality standards ISO, IFS and BRC.The company is certified according to the quality assurance standard ISO 22000: 2005 with certification code 07010111, by TUV Austria Hellas. Since 2011 the company has been approved by AGROCERT for the production of Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) for Gruyere Crete and for Pichtogalo Chanion.

Raw Materials
from local producers
The raw materials we process our facilities consists of 100% fresh sheep and goat's milk. This milk comes exclusively from farms located in the mountainous county of Chania and Rethymno.All our producers are affiliated with the Greek Milk Organisation and subject in both the regular monitoring of ELOGAK and at predetermined veterinary checks by the competent services. The Balantinos company maintains long-term cooperation with farmers in the region thus ensuring a consistent quality of the raw material for the production of dairy products.

The Balantinos company, respecting the environment and contributing actively to the protection, has established and certified Environmental Management System according to the international standard ISO 14001: 2004 certification code 04015084, by TUV Austria Hellas. In our operations we apply strict rules to minimize each type of disturbance to the environment and to ensure sustainable development for our business and the local community. For this reason, we invest in environmentally friendly technologies offering sophisticated sewage wastewater system and gaseous pollutants neutralization system. Also, take care to recycle all materials obtained as waste in the production process.
